PROJECTS
- On 02/17/2016, the tender launched by ENAC for the RPAS Research and Development Project called "CUAV" for the transport of goods by means of UAVs was contractually awarded, constituting a joint venture of companies called "PARTNERSHIP ALLIANCE" composed of the companies : U-Avitalia - Piaggio Aerospace – Bcube.
- On 10 and 11 October 2017, the first experimental flight of a remotely piloted Civil Air Cargo took place at Birgi Airport (Trapani), using the Piaggio Aerospace P1HH.
- The first phase of the CUAV project ended in 2018.
- The official recognition received at the international level in the PUCA (Platform Unmanned Cargo Vehicle) Conference, held in Rivalta di Torino for the Italian Section, places U-Avitalia among the international protagonists in the field of UAVs.
- Aero Club Italia: The certificate of conformity for the ZEFHIR helicopter issued by CURTI Spa U-Avitalia and its staff contributed to analyzing the documentation relating to the type identification of the ZEFHIR VDS ADVANCED helicopter
SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCES
ONGOING PROJECTS
- PROTEUS: Meeting the expectations of "Naval Multi-Domain Warfare Operations", U-Avitalia in concert with CURTI Aerospace and NPC Spacemind promote the PROTEUS project, the Totally Integrated System, which includes mature, new and innovative technologies for naval mission scenarios " Overwater" and underwater. The final objective of the PROTEUS project, in the context of the new conflict or mission theaters in which the Italian Navy (MMI) finds itself, is to allow, through the use of innovative technologies and tools, the counteraction of the the adversary, in the context of an emergency or unforeseen situations, with an indication of the actions to be taken and the means to be used in the various possible scenarios.
The entire PROTEUS system will be a highly integrated system comprising space, air, surface and underwater elements that are intended to operationally enable:
M inimization of vulnerabilities thanks to the reduction of critical aspects of the mission
Establish proactive operational planning and risk management
M aximization of systems availability in mission and survivability of the Naval Task Force
Optimization of the operational capabilities of the MMI in the sectors of interest when and where it is necessary Through a contingency plan in domain operations of the MMI, integrating the autonomous Proteus system with other existing systems based on the Profile and needs of the Mission

- AMUS is an acronym that stands for "Navigation system for UAS in a GPS Denied environment with DDA features" This system was proposed as part of the "National Military Research Plan 2023" by the Italian Ministry of Defense. The System has been developed to provide enabling technologies for unmanned flight systems (UAS) in terms of highly resilient advanced air navigation systems, complementary/replacement to the GPS signal, through the use of optical navigation, navigation by means of signals of opportunity (4/5/6G) and/or navigation by satellites of opportunity. Furthermore, the system has the ambition of developing Detection and Avoidance System Features with sharing of the sensors of the optical navigation system.
U-Avitalia Obtains Exclusivity for Italy from XTIA for the Development of the Trifan 600 VTOL
We are thrilled to announce that U-Avitalia has obtained exclusivity for Italy from the prestigious company
American XTIA for the development of the Trifan 600 VTOL project in its civil and military versions.
VTOL Trifan 600 project: Innovation and Versatility
The Trifan 600 represents a revolution in aviation, combining take-off and
vertical landing (VTOL) with the flight efficiency of a conventional aircraft. This hybrid aircraft is
designed to offer a versatile solution for a wide range of applications, from transport services
passengers to defense and security tasks.
U-Avitalia is ready to undertake all the necessary activities to carry out this ambitious project
project. Our priorities include:
ENAC Qualifications and Certifications:
We have started contacts with the National Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) to start the process and obtain the
necessary qualifications and future certifications.
Collaboration with Industrial Partners:
We are identifying and contacting qualified industrial partners for the construction of the first prototypes of the
Trifan 600.
Involvement of Air Service Operators:
We are in contact with air service operators interested in integrating the Trifan 600 into their fleets, both
for civil and military use.
A Future of Opportunities
This exclusive represents an extraordinary opportunity for the Italian aeronautical industry to be in
at the forefront of global technological innovation. The Trifan 600 will not only improve efficiency and versatility
of air transport, but will also offer new possibilities for operations in remote areas and critical missions.
Contacts and Collaborations
We invite all companies interested in collaborating with us in this exciting project to contact us.
U-Avitalia is open to dialogue with industrial partners, technology suppliers, air service operators and
investors who share our vision of a future where aviation is more accessible, efficient and
innovative.
